Impatience. Independence. Identity.

These are my current struggles.

I have so many plans, so many dreams. I can hardly bear this routine, seemingly inane lifestyle.

I want a change or an adventure or both.

These feelings are practically to be expected from someone who is less than three months from being a legal adult, and less than six from graduating high school, but I don’t want to make rebellious or hasty decisions.

Maybe posting these publicly will help.

When the new year dawned, I made these plans for some time between high school graduation and college graduation — ie. the next five years:

Adventures:
Go skydiving.
Hike the Appalachian Trail.

Body modifications:
Cut hair and donate it to Locks of Love.
Pierce my nose.
Get a white ink tattoo.
Laser hair removal.

Acquisitions:
Buy something made by Apple (iPhone, iPad, or 13″ Macbook Pro) that best fits my needs.

Activities:
Learn self-defense.
Learn to backflip/back handspring.
Become a regular blood donor.

It’s possible. (But I may try to get a job first. Car is optional.)
